ABOUT LITTLE
PLAY WORLD!
Little Play World is a pop-up role play village suitable for children 0-7 years old which can pop up anywhere for any occasion, as well as offering regular play sessions in and around Herefordshire.
We have carefully designed 9 different areas to inspire and immerse children in a different kind of creative playtime.
Children love playing at being grown up and they’ll have loads of fun pretending which is second nature to them. But they’ll also learn lots of important life skills at the same time, without even realising it!
Having the opportunity to occupational role-play at an early age is a great way for your little ones to get to know more about themselves, others and their environments which aids both their cognition and physical progress.
HI! I'M NIKKI!
My name is Nikki and I first had the idea to create Little Play World back in January 2019. As Herefordshire is so rural, I loved the idea of being able to take a role play village out to all locations across the county.
I have over 20 years experience of working with children and young people as well as being a mum of two. I started out teaching children outdoor activities and then in residential settings before becoming a family support worker and moving on to become a children's centre manager.
Having seen the importance of play in Early Years, I felt Little Play World would give children an opportunity to learn and develop through the exciting world of role play.

Running Little Play World is a family affair! There's my Mum Chris, who was a Further Education teacher for Child Development Studies; my husband Elliot who also used to teach outdoor activities to young people, and my wonderful daughters Darcey and Maya. Everyone gets stuck in setting up, packing away, playing with the children as well as making a lovely cuppa for the grown ups!
